Mission Inclusion is a FREE 30-minute school-based curriculum used to teach children about autism. Focused on grades K-5, this secret agent program starts by teaching about autism, neurodiversity, and the many ways autism impacts the daily lives of autistics. Once a base is established, the children engage in an age appropriate group activity while being assigned an autism trait such as being nonverbal, stimming, ADHD, lack of muscle tone, etc. that impacts their ability to do the group activity.  The program ends with the children having an opportunity to discuss how they felt during the group exercise and earning their Inclusion Agent badge.  All participants go home with a book to help continue the conversation about autism.  This program is being created and offered in partnership with our friends at Building Blocks Therapy.
