Sensory Events
We know that it can be hard to find sensory safe places to take autistic children and that’s why we created Sensory Saturdays! We work with local businesses such as Sky Zone, USA Ninja Challenge, and Pump It Up! to give autistic children opportunities for fun and socialization on the weekends.
Our events are designed to accommodate all kids, whether they want to run and play, work on adjusting to new environments, or anything in between. We create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where every child can participate at their own pace, ensuring a positive experience for all.
For our upcoming dates, you can refer your families to our events calendar: https://thepositivityspectrum.org/events/.
Sky Zone
The Positivity Spectrum partners with Sky Zone to create a more inclusive environment, offering sensory-friendly hours twice a month. Sky Zone can benefit autistic children by providing a sensory-friendly environment that helps with regulation and relaxation. The trampolines offer calming sensory input, while physical activities improve coordination and motor skills. It also encourages social interaction, allowing children to practice communication in a fun, safe setting.
USA Ninja Challenge
The Positivity Spectrum partners with USA Ninja Challenge, creating a sensory-friendly environment for children with autism. These events offers a supportive space where kids can improve motor skills, coordination, and focus while engaging in physical activity. Sensory Saturday helps with sensory regulation, encourages social skills, and builds confidence in a safe, inclusive setting tailored to meet the needs of children with autism.
Pump It Up
The Positivity Spectrum partners with Pump It Up to offer a sensory-friendly event designed for children with autism. This collaboration provides a safe, controlled environment where kids can enjoy the excitement of inflatable play in a calming setting. Help your child improve motor skills, enhance social interactions, and build confidence, all while engaging in fun, low-pressure activities. The partnership ensures that children with autism can experience the joy of play in a way that is both inclusive and supportive.
